Yesterday Mozilla announced the stable Firefox 3.0 version available for downloading. I installed it today and I’m quite happy with the performance boost. Subjectively gmail works twice as fast as before!
I highly encourage everyone to install the latest version!
Nice features are:
- Full screen mode is a real full screen mode, like the one used in IE
- Zooming shrinks pictures proportionally
- General performance boost — switching between tabs is noticeably faster, gmail works faster, etc.
Go ahead and install!

For a long time now I couldn’t understand this «Melodic death metal» style that many metalheads propagate. I thought that it sounded unmusical and weird… Until I got obsessed with it myself. The two favorite bands playing this style of music are «In Flames» and «Dark Tranquility«.
And although I’m not really fond of growling vocals, the kind of riffs that these bands play are the coolest riffs I’ve ever heard in my life.
I usually hook up my iPod to the stereo system in the GYM and work out. Because the nature of my trainings requires some amount of aggression this music creates the right mood

В последнее время удивляюсь себе, потому что на протяжении всей недели я слушаю практически одну песню в режиме ротации и мне она жутко нравится. Называется «Восток» группы «Табула Раса». Пишу этот пост, а она снова играет в моих наушниках. Надо же, она мне еще не надоела после 200 раз прослушивания?!
