For a long time now I couldn’t understand this «Melodic death metal» style that many metalheads propagate. I thought that it sounded unmusical and weird… Until I got obsessed with it myself. The two favorite bands playing this style of music are «In Flames» and «Dark Tranquility«.
And although I’m not really fond of growling vocals, the kind of riffs that these bands play are the coolest riffs I’ve ever heard in my life.
I usually hook up my iPod to the stereo system in the GYM and work out. Because the nature of my trainings requires some amount of aggression this music creates the right mood
